Today..

Today was a pretty productive day so far!
What was accomplished already:
- swept & washed the floors
- ran around and played like a little kid with my daughter =) .. (not to judge but I'm not one of those moms who shew their kids away all day.. I love my alone time but I love playing with my daughter, interacting and talking with her, and watching her grow each day.. time flies by and you never know how much those moments together matter in the long run.)
- washed dishes (as much as I'd love a dishwasher, sometimes it's those moments of scrubbing dishes that you really get to think without interruptions.)
- put in a load of laundry
- then folded that laundry
- made all of us lunch
- organized the house AGAIN ;) it's a never-ending thing when you have a toddler, though she likes to help me clean now too.
- ran 3 miles on an incline on my treadmill & did squats afterwards while watching 13 going on 30 when Daddy & Lilly played outside. Wanted to do more but baby#2 makes it a little harder these days to run more than that!

And now my sweet little girl's napping on the couch beside me while I'm taking a few moments to think and be thankful for everything in my life. Do you ever do that? Take a few minutes of every day while it's quiet and think of how blessed you really are? If you do even for a couple minutes, I promise you'll have a more positive outlook on the rest of your day =)
