Life has been pretty busy lately, so I must apologize for not posting anything for nearly 3 weeks!
We have been busy organizing, cleaning, & getting our house ready to move! That's right, MOVE! =)
I am so excited to announce that we will be moving back to beautiful Connecticut {aka home sweet home} in the next few weeks! I am so beyond excited.
Life here in Virginia has been interesting.. we've been here for a little over a year now, and even though we have met a few amazing friends, life hasn't really been the same for me since we moved here. I said it from day one, it just didn't seem right but obviously God led us here in His will, and I am thankful for experience we had here and the lessons He's taught us. God knew the true desire of my heart has always been to be close to my family. It's different when you have kids, you wish that they could see their grandparents more than just a couple times a year, and when you get older, you just become tighter & more close-knit with your family {that's how it should be at least). When Rich & I were first married in NC, it didn't really matter where we lived, just that we had each other. It still is that way, but I think having kids made me want to be closer to my family for many reasons.
I've been praying for a couple years now that God would continue to direct us to where He wants us to live. I've seen Him open and close doors, mainly close doors here in Virginia (which secretly made me happy of course) and when we began to reconsider moving to CT, I was so happy! So keep us in your prayers and thoughts as we move in a few weeks!
Anyway. Time for updates on my sweet kids.
Little Lar man is already 5 months old. He changes every week but I've noticed the biggest change this past week. He is getting so curious and loves to grab and touch everything and shove it in his mouth! He LOVES bright colors and funny noises and is now rolling over constantly. He loves interacting with people especially his sister, but is still most definitely a momma's boy! I love the squeals he makes when he is happy, it's the best sound ever! I still wake him up to feed him at 3 am which I have been called NUTS for, but hey, he's my kid and I'd rather feed him at 3 am because if I didn't, he wouldn't sleep in till 9 am every morning, so there!! HAHA. ;)
Miss Lilly is still as active as ever and makes the energizer bunny look bad. ;) She is still obsessed with puzzles which is fine with me! I heard if a kid is good at puzzles, he/she will be great at Math! I love watching her play with her little bro and make him laugh. She makes me so proud and is literally the best big sis ever. This is exactly the stage I was waiting for, when Lilly & her brother would get to the point where they love playing and laughing together. I LOVE watching them and makes me so thankful I have more than one kid.
Life is good and is about to get better! =)
