Family

Wow, I am really slacking in posting these days, aren't I? ;) Sorry! It has been a bit busy since little man's 5 month appointment and my big announcement of moving to CT next week! NEXT WEEK, I still can't believe how soon it is. It seems like there is still so much to do, but one day at a time and it will get done. It is definitely twice the work and time when there are TWO kids involved!

Anyway, I was pretty sick this past week. I am finally on the mend but it was awful. It is even worse when you still have kids to take care of and errands that need to be run, etc. But thankfully, my sweet hubby was home to help!

Isn't it a cool thing how when a "crisis" arises, big or small, it binds your family a little closer? I LOVE that. When everything goes perfectly and smoothly, there is LESS need to want to rely on each other and to lean on each other. When hard times come, I am one of those people that completely thrive on needing others. NOT that I can't take care of myself or the problem myself, I can, but there is just something amazing about being there for each other and encouraging each other during the storms of life. I am someone who LOVES an encouraging word or a supporting hand; I love hearing that someone has already been through it and that it'll be okay in the end, and if it's not, that they will be there for you cheering you on & praying for you. God created relationships for that reason.

And when hard times come, I am CONSTANTLY reminded that the ONLY thing that really completely matters to me {besides God of course} is my little family. They are ALL I need. They are here for me & I will always be there for them. My husband. My little girl. My baby boy. As long as we have each other, we will survive and everything will be okay. Just like when we lost our electricity this past summer when the temperature reached way past 100 degrees, as long as we were together {and some place cool}, I didn't care. There is a beauty in finding contentment in each other and not really caring about anything else.

Anyway, I will probably not be posting for a while due to our big move next week. Say a prayer that everything will go smoothly for us! =)
