A letter for my crazy wonderful little girl,
It has been a while since I last wrote a letter to you! Life lately with you has been so much fun! Do you know how much i LOVE having you as a daughter and how much I thank God for you?! Each year with you keeps getting better and better, but the past few months with you have been so much fun watching you grow and change. It's exciting and sad at the same time. You are no longer a baby, not even a toddler. You are an amazing, unique little girl who has so many talents and gifts.
The thing I love most about you right now is how great you are at being a big sister. It's like you don't even need to put any effort into being a great sister, you just ARE. You always try to protect your little brother from all harm, and the moment he starts whining you are there by his side comforting him or giving him another toy. You do occasionally still get a bout of jealousy when I am holding him, but overall you have been so patient with him. Seeing you two play and interact gives me so much joy.
When I was running on the treadmill today, you were playing with your crafts, and for a brief moment I looked over at you and I remember feeling so thankful that you are my daughter. You are definitely your daddy's daughter though, you have his adventurous spirit and fearlessness, and I admire that so much. Everyone lately has been commenting on how SMART you are for a three year old. I may be bias, but you really are one of the brightest, smartest little kids I know! But with being smart comes more responsibility, and I know you will be able to handle the responsibilities I am giving you as you grow. You make us so proud. =)
This year you are turning 4, and I can't wait to experience more fun & challenging times with you as your Mama! Love you & always will, sweet girl!
