I just typed out a huge paragraph but decided to delete it. It's getting late so I figured I'd keep today's post simple and short. As some of you know, I am almost 9 weeks pregnant! Yay! Lilly is going to be a big sister, and such a wonderful big sister I know she will be! Judging by how she mothers her dolls and animals, I don't have a doubt in my mind that she will be a fantastic helper with her new little sibling coming in late May. =) We are so excited to add another baby Griffin to our family of 3!
Anyway, touching on another totally different subject: holding grudges. Since I was little, I have always been known as the peace maker. My sister and brother would argue, my friends would argue, and my too-sensitive heart would always try to fix things. Well, growing up I learned that people just aren't going to get along, and you almost have to develop a tough skin. That's life, but I'm also a firm believer in trying to get along as best you can. After all, who really likes drama? DUH, everyone usually does, especially girls. It's annoying. One person says this about that person, and soon the gossip chain begins and travels down the lovely grapevine. I've seen friendships and families ruined from it. If you really don't have anything nice to say about someone else, just please don't say it at all. I'm guilty of it, we all are, but God instructs us to love. Bitterness ruins lives. Which leads me to another point, forgiveness! It's hard to forgive, isn't it? It's really easier to stick up your noise and be the proud one, I've been there and the only person who ended up miserable was myself. So, lesson of the day: get over your grudges and your pride, and be kind to one another. =)
So much for my "short and simple" post, huh? Goodnight all!
