I WISH we could have spoiled my husband rotten today as it's Father's Day, but all we did was go to church and eat hotdogs & chips for lunch afterwards (well, he ate hotdogs.. I had chicken salad.) I wanted to make cookies for him last night, but just didn't have the energy because I was worn out. Oh, the life of the parents of a newborn & energetic 3 yr old! But I wouldn't trade these moments for anything. =)
Today, we are celebrating all the dads out there, but I'm especially celebrating my own Dad, my hubby, & my father in law.
I couldn't have asked for a better Dad; many things comes to mind that describe him, but I think the things that best describe him are kind, generous, & hard-working. He has always been there to help us no matter what & I feel so blessed that God picked him & my mom as parents for me when I was adopted. Love you Dad!
I couldn't have asked for a better husband either to be a father to our kids. I feel so blessed to have him; literally I feel like a princess at times & am so thankful for his help & that he works so hard to provide for our family. Love you hubby!
Couldn't have asked for a better father in law either! Even though we don't see you as much as we hope we could, we love you & appreciate all your hard work! I know Lilly sure misses you tons, and we sure miss singing with all of you on Sundays! Love you, Grumpy! =)
