As a mom, you wish you can almost be in two places at once sometimes.. for example, I am usually always nursing baby Richie since he is growing like a weed and is always hungry; yet Lilly gets jealous, and I can tell she does things to test me for my undivided attention whenever I sit down to feed him. Moms with more than one kid, you can relate, can't you? I wish I could give her my undivided attention and go in her room like old times and spend hours playing with her, but I can't, and that's ok, because as 'mean' as it sounds, she has to learn she can't always be the center of attention. I just can't wait till Richie's a little older so I can watch them play together! It will be the cutest thing.
Anyway, like I said, our little guy mostly eats, sleeps (though not as much during the day anymore!), stares & looks around curiously, and more than anything, loves being held. I have to admit he is quite a clingy baby; he just loves being held by his momma! I know I am his sense of comfort, so if he isn't attached to me, he gets mad haha. I'm all for different methods of "parenting" or whatever you wanna call it. With Lilly, I did the "cry it out" baby-wise, strict scheduling type of thing.. but with Richie, I am nursing on demand, holding him whenever he wants.. you can call it attachment parenting, even though it may be harder on me, I enjoy it & would rather have a happy baby than a crying one for now. He's still little. =)
