Love my Lilly

As excited as I am for our little boy to arrive next month, I am cherishing every moment alone with my little girl for now. Today we spent most of the day at the park, & it was most definitely the PERFECT day out for it! PERFECT weather, not a cloud in the sky, high of 75 with a light breeze. Lilly LOVES the park, could spend all day long playing at the park if she could! Our park has such a fun big playground & many walking/running trails, so we normally spend an hour or two playing on the playground then walk together on the trails since she loves walking with me too. Being a mom is hard sometimes, when it comes to disciplining your children or training them or simply trying to be the best role model for them.. but my daughter really has become one of my best friends even though she is only two and I pray & hope our bond will always continue to grow as Mother & Daughter. Lilly really is becoming such a fun little girl with such a compassionate, energetic personality; it is so amazing watching her learn & grow & experience new things in life. I never realized how fun it is either when toddlers start really having conversations with you & knowing how to talk in sentences, etc. It is hilarious sometimes, some of the things she says & picks up on!! Right now some of her favorite things to do is sing songs along with me {toddler memory is incredible, I must say} and read books. She is such a little blessing to me. =) I am glad we didn't get pregnant till now because I am really enjoying all this time I have getting to know her & spend time with her without another cute little one to take care of {though I know many friends/parents who have children very close in age, and it is still an amazing bond. But I am glad that Lilly & her little bro will be at least 3 yrs spaced out.}
