4 months old!

This has been such a wonderful week so far with the cool front coming through. However I feel tired today.. the past few days have been pretty "busy," with running errands in the morning followed by an afternoon outside playing till dinner time. Even though it is sunny out and warmer today, we are spending it inside because I just feel tired. We did go outside to play for a little bit earlier and drove to Kohls this morning to get a few long sleeved shirts for little man but other than that, we are taking it easy. I'm glad I decided to use my crock pot for dinner tonight since I definitely don't feel like cooking later, haha!

Little man is officially four months old today. He changes every day, mentally & physically. He looks older & is always so curious to watch what we are doing (and eating!) I give him some banana every day which he loves & can't wait to introduce more pureed foods to him! (I will probably wait till six months though to really start introducing solids.)

Anyway, just had a random thought. Sometimes I ask myself why I bother blogging so much.. and I know a certain amount of people read this but I'm not really sure who exactly does. But if you do, I hope you enjoy reading each of my posts. I've always loved writing & capturing memories through writing. I guess with Lilly, I didn't document much because I was so stressed out with Rich being deployed during so many months of her first two years. And I regret not documenting anything, because to me, these first few years of my children's lives are so important and so full of wonder, excitement, new challenges, new lessons, new adventures. I know I will look back on this blog and be glad that I am recounting so much of their lives. That's why I write them letters too, so one day they can read this & know how much I cherished these early years.

Well, one kid is down for his nap and the other one is looking pretty tired too. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day! =)
