You know how most moms have a set bedtime for their kids & put them to bed AS SOON AS their bed time hits? Well it is 9:30, thirty minutes PAST my little son's bed time, and I am still sitting on the couch cuddling with this very content happy baby. =)
I just love him so much. I never thought I'd enjoy this baby stage so much.. sounds weird, but with Lilly, the baby stage was stressful and now that she is older, I LOVE the stage she is in. I love that she can communicate with us in full sentences and understand everything and get things herself and get dressed herself, etc...
SO I figured with our second baby, I would be the same way, not enjoy the baby stage as much and look forward to the older part. WRONG! Here I am, loving every single minute I have with my little guy and wishing so much I could just freeze this stage and keep him this little forever. I don't want him to grow up; I'm having a really hard time accepting that he has to. Hmm... maybe that means that when he gets older, I will just want more babies, hahaha!!! ;) Same thing in regards to breastfeeding.. with Lilly, I hated every single stinkin' minute of it! With my son, I LOVE nursing, such good bonding time.
Anyway, I really should put him to bed now, though maybe I'll give him ten more minutes since he is now singing to me. Such a cutie. =) Goodnight!
