Late night Post

This is a very, very late night post.. But since the kids are fast asleep in bed & the hubby is still out flying his *first* night flight, I figured I'd take advantage of the wonderful silence & blog some.

Well, Fall is officially here! =) I am so, so excited fall is finally here.. I've always been a summer fan, but once you have kids (especially a newborn), you almost want to forget about summer when it's almost 100 degrees & wayyy too hot to play. A cool front is visiting us this week thankfully, so the kids & I are taking full advantage of this perfect breezy weather & taking walks & going out a lot more than normal.

Today was a busy day, which always is a good thing when you have an overly energetic toddler. ;) Little man is much more predictable with his schedule too & his feedings are spacing out a little, so I pretty much know when to go out & when to stay in. I love that. This morning after my run, I took the kids on a long walk. And after eating lunch, I took them out again to Toys R Us to buy Lilly some new shoes since she is outgrowing her current ones.. I definitely scored some cute deals since Toys R Us is having a huge shoe/clothing sale. Kinda stinks though when you have to buy your 3 month old some 6/9 month onesies. He's a huge kid, what can I say!? =)

We came home, kids took a nap, I did some laundry, and we just relaxed the rest of the evening watching movies.

It was a very good day, and actually, the hubby JUST walked in so I gotta go! =)
