Stuffed Shells & Pumpkin Muffins
Stuffed shells & pumpkin cream-cheese muffins... not exactly your healthy menu of the day, but what can I say, baby was craving it so that is what he gets! =) We normally try to eat healthy & stay active in this house, but once in a while, we splurge; what fun would life be without splurging!
Not much going on today.. Rich oiled my treadmill this morning, so I am happy.. every 150 miles I run, my treadmill has to be lubed or else it will die.. other than that, Lilly & I did laundry and we baked those muffins.
God has been tugging on my heart lately on a certain issue. I think I am going to try to update Facebook less on my life and blog a little more.
NOT that anything is wrong with facebook, but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. I feel like every time I accomplish something, or Lilly accomplishes something, I have to update the world via Facebook to let everyone know!
Again, nothing wrong with that! Honestly, what Mom doesn't want to brag about her kids? Or anything else for that matter? This is hard to admit, but I love it when other people know how cute Lilly is being, or what we accomplished for the day, or how many miles I can still run while I am 7 months pregnant, or what we made for dinner, and the list can go on! It can be a pride thing sometimes. So now that I admitted that, don't judge me when i do sometimes post things like that hahaha!! ;)
God has been showing me that facebook is mainly a way of bringing glory to yourself most of the time, not to Him. And He deserves more glory than I every will. Again, NOT that facebook is wrong and updating your status every day is wrong, but for me, I know I need to step back and do it less. =) So check my blog more if you want, haha! Just something on my heart latey.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend! Stuffed shells are in the oven and I cant wait to eat them! =)
