It's so cute because lately Lilly has been telling me how much she loves me, at random times. It's really the cutest thing and makes me feel so loved. And it's bittersweet because when little man naps, I spend one-on-one time with her & when he wakes up & needs me, she grabs my shirt and says "Nooo, don't go, pleeease." It makes me sad but at the same time I know that she & her brother will be best buds always playing together by the time he's a little older.
Anyway, today we went to get Lilly's FREE birthday cupcake at Barnes-n-Noble! I didn't want to take her on her actual birthday last week because my hubby bought her a birthday doughnut for breakfast (tradition) & she really didn't need more sugar than that. It's really nice getting out of the house with the kids once in a while. I am such a busy body that I hate staying in but since having the baby, we have been staying in a lot more, especially since it's been wicked hot out too.. But the times we do go out just me & the kids, is wonderful and normally little man is so good out in public. I think only one time he started screaming in Target but that was it.
WELL our seasoned chicken is baking in the oven and I need to pick up before hubby gets home soon from work! SO happy that he FINALLY gets the weekend off tomorrow.. he had two weekends off from work a while ago, then all of a sudden more people quit and he was back to working every single day... not fun for all of us, we all need the break, him from work & Mommy could use a little break herself. ;) A day of rest is always nice.
