Sweet Lilly & HIIT workouts!
Sweet Lilly.
Adorable. Energetic. Passionate. Confident. Adventurous. Stubborn. Independent. Forgiving. Happy-go-lucky. Drama Queen. Loving.
I just love this little girl with all my heart. This week has been a little challenging considering she feels like testing me for what seems like all the time. And it's hard, sometimes I feel like all I am doing all day is saying NO, NO, NO, and time out after time out starts getting old..
But even through this stubborn stage, I don't want to forget what an amazing little girl she is. She makes me so proud. And soon she'll be old enough to start school. WHAT? Seems like yesterday she was my baby but in five days she will be three! When she was little, I felt like I couldn't wait till she got a little older so she could start talking with me and everything, but now that she is having full-blown conversations (most of which makes me burst out laughing because of how cute and funny this girl is), I just wish that maybe we could freeze time and she wouldn't get older.
In a year or so we will be thinking of starting school! Crazy to even say.. I am praying we have enough money by then as we have already starting saving for Lilly to go to a Christian school. I believe it's so important, and I so enjoyed having the opportunity myself to go to a Christian school Kindergarten to graduation. It's either that or I will definitely consider homeschooling... I know everyone has different views/religious views and what not, but public school is not an option for us.
And I already want her to get involved with something fun like maybe gymnastics or soccer; she would LOVE that and it would be so wonderful for her to make some more friends and to keep active!
Anyway, Mr Little Man has been incredibly clingy lately. I know it's just a stage but it gets harder when all he wants is to be held while he is getting heavy! And he hates being in his baby carrier. =/ One day he will learn to love that thing!! ;) But it's ok, I am a softie and I hate hearing him scream so I don't let him cry it out much... like I said, every parent is different. All I know is I love him oh so much and both my babies are growing so big so fast.
ANOTHER RANDOM FITNESS THOUGHT:
Here is my new HIIT workout that is great for fast results if you want to give it a try!
I normally try to sprint really fast off and on on my treadmill for one to two miles depending on how long the baby will let me. (He likes watching me run but sometimes he gets impatient.) The whole point of High Intensity Interval Training is to keep your heart rate up by making your body work intensely for a short amount of time with a tiny bit of rest time in between. After sprinting, I do about 15 burpees, 100 high knees, some squats, more burpees, and some jumping stars. It's a fast workout but it makes you sweat so fast and great for losing fat! So give it a try if you can! =)
Well I am off to go bring Lilly outside to run around and play, FINALLY a cool front is coming through, so it is not as hot as it used to be! =)
Have a great day!!
