Our little man is almost two months old already, and he is changing so much every day. The first couple weeks are always the hardest, constantly second-guessing if you're doing things right combined with hardly any sleep & stressing over the tiniest things (if you're me).. but thankfully I think that baby R is getting into a pretty predictable routine!
We all wake up around 6:45-7:30, Rich leaves for work, I feed the baby, he normally goes back to sleep for a cat-nap that lasts maybe 30-40 minutes, during which time I run on the treadmill while Lilly eats her breakfast; most of the morning we either go outside if it's not too hot or play with puzzles or something like that.. baby cluster feeds a lot in the morning to fill up for his long nap which normally lasts 3-4 hours starting around 11.. he wakes up to eat during his nap but then falls back to sleep till like 3.. then Lilly takes her nap at 3 and she is out for a couple hours, thankfully. When he's a little older I will try making them nap at the same time, but I'm not too worried about it for now. After that, the baby is up pretty much till 10 at night, haha! He gets pretty cranky/tired around 8 but his body-clock for some reason can't turn off till 10. He sleeps a good 5-6 hour stretch till like 3 or 3:30 then wakes up to eat then falls back to sleep till 6:45-7! And there's our day!
Little man is starting to coo and try to talk back to us now, I think I mentioned that in my last post? Can't remember. But he has the cutest little voice; I can't wait till he can talk for real! We go for his second month appointment in two weeks, so I can't wait to see how much he weighs! I'm guessing 12, 13 pounds but I can be wrong.. he just seems so big, not necessarily chubby but he is very long.. has my husband's tall genes I guess!
Anyway, hope you all have a good day! It will be another hot one for us here, probably going to reach 100!
