Cooing & Smiles

My little man has recently started to coo! It is the cutest thing by far listening to him try to talk back to us! He's been smiling back for a little more than a week now, and that is incredibly precious too. This may sound funny to you, but his nickname ever since he was born has been "Lar." That's right, Lar, as in "car" or "far." We nicknamed him that because when he cries, he always makes this cute little "Lar" sound, haha! Funny, I know, but I think it's cute!

We had a pretty good day today again. Hubby's been working long 12 hour shifts again; this week he pulled a 62-hr work week! Aaaand it's been a rainy week so we've been staying in trying to stay busy playing with puzzles, reading, painting, play-dough, etc.. BUT I am getting cabin fever and one of these days I promised myself I'd go out by myself for some me-time. =) I love being a mom but I haven't been out just myself in a lonnnng time.

Anyway, second day in a row where I tried to run again. Felt great! Did a little more than a mile.. I can't wait till I can work back up to 3 miles or more, but for now I'm still taking baby steps because when you become pregnant, your core changes so much that you pretty much have to start back from scratch in regards to cardio. =/

Well my hubby will be home soon (YAY!) so I need to tidy up. =)
